K Ive been reading my chilton manual and theres something about the back-up lamp switch wire and the neutral safety switch wire. Im pretty sure these are the wires that were not connected but I really dont have an idea where they are. can someone point me in the right direction?

I know the thing is a POS, but i dont have the money or time to swap it for a manual one. my question is because it wont go into 4low by itself, cant i just take off the shift motor and switch it myself?

I didnt do the swap the previous owner did.. i did find a 2 prong connector comming off the trans (on the passenger side. its red) and a wire with a 2 prong connector which looks like it should fit together but they dont. im going to see if i can trace it back to the TC and if it does go to the ...

Yeah I seen and read the topic about those stupid motors.. took mine out clean it and now it works again.. can blame ford to much for putting those on there.. its probably the first time its ever stopped working in 21 years.. its an easy fix to!

1987 b2 2.9 electronic shift.I was climbing around some lil hills when i was done ready to go home, the fucker wouldnt switch back to 2wd.. so i drove home slowly.. im pretty sure its still in 4x4 cause it doesnt like turning at all.. any ideas how to fix this?? thanks

87 b2 2.9. where do hook it up? i think the gauge is either mechanical or electrical not to sure but it did come with the tube. which is better?.. i dont know if im really blind or looking in the wrong places i cant find anything in the manual.. any ideas?? and my oil pressure on the stock gauge ...

Taking it to the shop tomorrow to get the part replaced. I do have a manual but it doesnt give me any information about it.. it doesnt have a vacuum advance inside it and im not talking about the TFI.. I was just wondering if i had to take the distributer out to change it. but thanks anyway
