At least you're okay. and now you have more reason to do the engine swap. Granted it's under shitty conditions. One of the first thing I bought for my Bronco was a fire extinguisher. Being in a wheelchair I wouldn't have been able to smother the fire out with my shirt..

Time for a brief update. I finally got my garage so now I have a place to work on the truck without worring about punks slashing my tires. You'll notice the 29X10.5 SuperSwamper TSL/SX's. I also just gave it a quick Redneck Primer job..I really hate the color red :puke: Future mods are: 2" body lift ...

With no lift i'm currently running Super Swamper TSL/SX 29X10.5 on 15" rims. There is some front fender rub, but i'v eonly noticed it when taking corners slowly. http://www.4wheelparts.com/PDT65085.aspx

I got my rims from www.4wheelparts.com. They're pretty good with prices and even when I wanted to match another online dealer they matched 100%.

Well after being under the truck all day Saturday, i finally figured out that the bracket is part of the bellcrank assembly. How difficult is it going to be to pull the bellcrank assembly out. The manual says to remove the linkages, but there seems to be groments holding them in place..Any adivce?

Help locating part

So i've posted before about how my BII wasn't starting in park and the gear selection was off. Well today I found out why, it turns out that the shift pivot bracket that mounts to the frame was broken  . I've hit all the junkyards in my area and no one has one. So my question do any of you know ...

yeah, it makes sense. I was thinking of taping a 1 in line following the body line, cutting that out. Then I would put 1 in slots in the remaining part so that bending the metal up would be alittle easy and hopefully keep the original lines.

Fender Trimming

I'm planning on trimming my fenders about 2 inches and was wondering if anyone had any info on how to get all the measurements correctly. I just got Super Swamper TSL/SX's 29X10.5 on 15in wheels and they are hitting the back corners of the front fenders.

Thanks for the help.

I'm planning on putting a JamesDuff 2' Body lift on my 84 B2. The main reason for this is i'm also doing a 302 conversion and I want as much clearance in there as possible. I could go higher, but jumping from a wheelchair into the truck could get tricky.

Due to some punk kids and a knife, I just put on Super Swampers tsl/sx 29X10.50 on 15" Rock cralwer Series 97 wheels. Under full compression I hit the front fenders on the right side and the left side in front of the doors. Since i'm putting on Fender Flares i'll be trimming about 2inches off each ...

Thanks for all the replies guys.. I'll be putting my parts list together this coming week. I still need to hone out the piston chambers due to water getting into them. but overall i'm rather pleased with the condition of the engine.

Thanks again

Help with 302 conversion

Well i finally got my 302.. Wanted to get some input before rebuilding the top end. The truck will be used mainly on weekends, during the winter and to drive on some moderate trail terrain. I was wondering for those of you who have done the swap what would you recommned for the intake, cam, and carb ...
