Re: starter problems
I have the same exact problem. I have tried different bell housing, starter, starter drive gear and flywheel. admittedly both flywheels were used. I have come to the conclusion that it is the flywheel. Just because there are no missing teeth they still could be not as high as the other teeth ...

Re: my homade stealth snorkel.... hope it works
Yea works fine. Have had no problems with it and have been in alot of mud and such with it.
The only thing is you may want to put a piece of screen over the inlet in the cowl cause it will suck up any leaves and such that happen to fall thru cowl slots, other then that its great.

Re: my homade stealth snorkel.... hope it works
I did basically the same thing except I have the 2.8 and just used dryer vent hose from the air filter. there was an inspection plate where i went thru firewall so didnt have to do any cutting. I figured like you did, if I got in water that high I was screwed anyway. lol http://i262.photobucket.com ...

Re: 1988 Bronco II wont start
check for fuel at injector rail.
check fuel filter.
listen for sound of fuel pump running with key on.
check inertia switch(passenger side floorboard near tranny hump, under carpet.)
