my homade stealth snorkel.... hope it works
i started with a 3 ft piece of pvc 2 45s a male fitting and lockring and an st 90 and about a foot and a half of flat iron

Have you tested that and how did it work out I've been thinking about doing something similar to that but going higher with it just on the b2 I'm having a hard time trying to find a way to route it and pvc?

Not yet no mud here in tx I didnt run it through the fender cause I figured id tear it off on a limb or rock its more of an insurance policy last spring I ran off in a hole and water was over my headlights couldnt back out fast enough I figure if I get water up to my windsheid im screwed anyway lol ill let u know how it works

I did basically the same thing except I have the 2.8 and just used dryer vent hose from the air filter. there was an inspection plate where i went thru firewall so didnt have to do any cutting. I figured like you did, if I got in water that high I was screwed anyway. lol

Yea works fine. Have had no problems with it and have been in alot of mud and such with it.
The only thing is you may want to put a piece of screen over the inlet in the cowl cause it will suck up any leaves and such that happen to fall thru cowl slots, other then that its great.

Thanks Jorley have to do that... Fnlucky I used 2'' schedule 40 pvc drain pipe doesnt seem to bog down the motor any I figure I can use the snorkel when I mud and if I need that extra ump on the climbs I keep my cold air intake in the back it only takes a min to change it out
