1988 Bronco II wont start
1988 Bronco II wont start
Bronco II wont start. It will fire and if I feed it gas it will start, but then quits after the gas is gone. Is their more than one fuel pump or is the one in the tank the only one? Someone told me there is one on the frame. All I can find is something that looks like a black canister that the bottom screws off of. Could this be the problem?

if you have the canister you have 2 pumps, there should be a filter in the canister. when ya turn the key on do ya here the pumps runnin?

check for fuel at injector rail.
check fuel filter.
listen for sound of fuel pump running with key on.
check inertia switch(passenger side floorboard near tranny hump, under carpet.)
