760X?

Post by DBrown »

I was looking to get some spare parts for the shake down run and was looking at the 760x axle joints......the axle I am running now has the 297x and I was wondering if anyone knew if I needed to alter the axle itself to hold make it hold the 760x?

also a D44 lockout is a D44 lock out right? if I get some off a TTB will it work on a 79 D44?

I was told that TTB and SAS were same lockouts. I hope so as I took the lockouts off the d44 ttb before I sold it.

thats what I was told also. did they look the same when you pulled the axle?

I read MR. N's site again and I think the 760x is a direct replacement so I guess I will grab a couple to take with me.

ok now I have another question.....are the outers on an IFS D44 the same as the outers on a SA D44?

does anyone have a link to a full axle length chart?

I might have access to a TTB D44 for some swapped parts and was just wondering what all I can use.....

I believe the 297x is a discontinued item, replaced by the 760x

The lockouts are interchangeable, even among cheby.

Only the bearing hub and rotor are the same. Everything else is different.
