I think any 83-89 will work. I wouldn't pay over $50 for one in perfact shape.

started the tear down today. got all the front end off and the wiring out. I get to use my favorite tool tomarrow.......sawzaw and BFH

going to trailer the BII back from a friends house on Wed. to start gutting it for the cab swap on Mon.

still trying to figure out what to do with the FS Bronco stuff untill I can sell it all.

oh, the F100 on the right is my new tow rig, and the car on the trailer is my 64 Falcon. that is what I traded my dart for.

nice freakin falcon i love thows old car's if i were ever to get a old classic like that i would get a 67-68 fairlane or a old comet. save your part's you can sell alot of that stuff ( doors, tailgate, brake booster, hood, ect), and make some money back might take awhile but it's worth it. does the f-100 have a heathy motor? i got more pic's of my rig's steering and body mount's so if you need something let me know.

the F100 is in GOOD shape....I pulled my Falcon back from the Indiana side of Louisville (about 5 hours total trip) and I used about a tank and a half of gas. for a 5.0L it has alot of life left. not bad for $500?

I know what you mean about the fairlanes. my friend Jason has a 66. he is about as far along as I am on my falcon. our goal is to get em both going so we can hit shows together. the falcon has alot of sentamental value. that car belonged to my friend that died in a car wreck right before we were suposed to go to turkey bay. I am picking up the 351 Cleveland I baught for it on Wed.

I will probably be hitting you up for some more pic's next week, I plan on installing the BII cab on mon. how did you get your cab on the full size frame? I was planning on just buying the beer and having about 6 friends set it in place.

sorry to hear about your friend that suck's. it's cool you get to build something up like that in memmory of him.

the cab swap will take at least 4 people. my cab was gutted and top choped and we raised it over the chasis with motor and drive train still in place. the chasis also had a 4" lift, 6 of your bud's should have no problem.

I have it down to the 8 body bolts and the roof is off now. planned on just cutting it down the center and just kicking off both sides. I am going to scrape and reundercoat the frame while it is off. I figured I would mock up everything up with the 351M in it so I will have some room when I swap the 302 in. I was thinking of using the FS column on the BII and just wiring everything up with the FS wiring harness. did you use the BII wiring?

i had 6 or 7 of my buddy's over to remove the 79 tub. it's heavy (muther). or you can just roll it off. i opted to lift it off becuz i had a trailer to load it on to get rid of it.

when you mock up the body make sure to leave as much space for a nice size radiator. i mounted the firewall as close to the cleveland as i could get it to go without making it to hard to get to engie/tranny bolt's.

i used the 79 wiring harness. take the whole thing it's a pain in the a$$ to remove but it make's hooking everything up easy. make sure to take the headlight wiring harness to. i did'nt keep any of the switches for all the accessorys becuz im gonna gut the wiring of all the stuff im not gonna use and wire up my own switches for all of my accessorys. i used the broncoII steering column becuz it fit. the 79 steering column is gonna be a biat*h. you'll see.

you running a slush box or manuel?

right now it is a NP435/205 combo. the clutch is going to be something I have to worry about, but I had planed on doing the same thing that Nobody did and keep the hydrolic setup. I will get some pics up as soon as I can.

i would still use the bII steering column. i did'nt keep the bII dash so my ignition is hanging down. i plan on making a small dash out od aluminium.
is your Bii manuel? if so it would be easy to plum the clutch.

yeah, the BII is a manual. I think that will make it easier on me.
I am almost done getting it all taken apart, I just have junk laying everywhere

so you gonna stretch the rear of the bII or move the rearend up?

I have been doing alot of thinking about that. I would like to keep the wheel base of the 79. so..... I was thinking about putting the cab on and making the decission then. I think I might just chop the whole rear of the fenders out and leave the wheel base if the frame doesn't look to bad. kinda like I did in the pic.
