				Carb and Distributer replacement

				I want to replace the carb and distributer in my 84 Bronco II . It has a six clyinder engien in it . I want to do away with all the electronic carbage that is on it now. Does anyone have any suggestions on if this can be done and where i can find the parts?any help would be great . thanks

				I don't know a whole lot about the 2.8, but if you want a non-electronically controlled carb and duraspark ingition, I would look for those parts form a Mustang II from the late 70's or similar cars from around that time that had the 2.8 V6.  Also, offenhauser makes a 4 barrel intake for that engine, and a 390cfm carb on top of that makes good power from what I hear, but thats if you have money.  There are a lot of other people here who know more about it than me, but thats where I would start.  Also, for more guidance, you could look at the ranger station.  (Don't worry I am not advertising).

				I just finished Duraspark conversion on my 84 B2. Pretty simple, except I put
distributor 180 degree out.  "Nobody" was right about my mistake, Thanks!
There is lots of info available here. I bought almost all parts new from Advanced and Napa- less than $300.
