So my daughter was sick so I got to stay home, I took my two way radio out the garage and got a bit of work done Nobody was flipping me some stink about shouldn't I be working so here is what I got done today.
I got the rear tore apart (the rear end was out) starting with removing the skid plate, tank skid plate, fuel tank, both pumps, links, coils and removing one upper frame mount and made what you see in the pics.
I am also going to redo the fuel system since I am not thrilled with the fuel lines I used when I did the FI swap. Longest part was getting the 15 gallons of fuel out.

Looks good, must be nice to stay home whenever you want. The sick child excuse (never heard that before ). Good thing I came in to fill in your spot then .
The flu's and colds are going around. My kids have been sick off and on for 2 weeks.
So when you get the Bronco done do I get to tow it around??? I need to break the new diesel in.
EBSteve just likes to watch me break things.:-)
420HP and 775Ft lbs Now it is time to break things.
She was really sick, believe it or not, and I don't seem to have a good way to get to work if the wife stays home
I have the trailer if you want to haul it around with that new diesel I can have it loaded and ready to go :-)
So did you get stuck hauling out of SW and south of there?

No I avoid that. I picked up a heep in Rieter pit that was smashed and then I hauled some Leachate. I know that you get payed to stay home with the kids when they are sick. That is why I have to, my wife doesn't. I am dragging my new project out today to start the transplant of a new heart. I am feeling a 4X itch.

I got a bit more done today, nothing to exciting. Cut off the other upper mount from the frame, bent up the upper link mount, welded it to the 60 (without tying it into the pumpkin yet) and did a bit of grinding to decide if I wanted to cut and shave the housing. I decided that grinding is enough, cutting and plating would only gain me about 1/4" more unless I ground the ring gear and I don't want to do that.
I will be making a cover and adding a bolt hole to keep the cover from peeling. The plan is 3/8" ring that will tie into the link mount, 1/4 over the ring gear and 1/8" for the rest.
