Dash brake light and anti lock brake light error

Post by deathmetalandrez »

when i drive my truck around for a bit codes get set off and my brake light and anti lock brake light pop on. I have an engine code reader, i popped it in and it told me MAF and MAP sensor overvolt? i notice that when i initially start my truck cold, if i give it gas the lights brighten and as the rpms drop the lights dim a bit. maybe whatever is causing my lights to brighten is giving my sensors too much voltage? i also notice if its very cold outside the codes arent set off (temps around freezing.) any suggestions?
I currently own 4 bronco 2's. Three of them are 89' of which two are 4x4 and love em. The other is an 85' 4x4 5-spd

I think the dim lights are because of your alternator. You should go have your charging system checked. Most auto parts stores will check it for free. Not sure what to say about your codes.
