Works like a dream!
Was able to fix the gear in the power window, and it works like a dream. The repaired window is a little slower going up than the other window, but the motor may be slowly dying. But I only need it to last for a year or two, and I think it will do that easily. Thanks for all the advice, gang! Next ...

How would I check that it's the springs versus the shocks?
The shocks look old... very old. But the springs are nice and rusty as well. How do I check that it's one and not the other, or do I assume both?

Shock absorber advice needed
My wife and I have an 89 BII that is a daily driver, entirely on the interstate. The suspension is crap on it. Should I just change the shocks? If so, what kind should I get? Is there anything special I need to know to change the rear schocks?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Power window gear advice needed!!!
The gear in the passenger side window of my 89 Bronce II went out. I pulled the door apart, and it looks about impossible to get to the motor/gear to fix it. Should I just cut out the sheet metal of the door to get to it?
