I have a 1990 Bronco II 5 speed manual with a 2.9liter engine. My temperature gauge stopped work the other day and while I was driving around town (with the A/C on) I started seeing white smoke out from under the hood. After parking it and checking on it later the engine is fine. No more smoke. I am ...

:hmmm: I have a 1990 Bronco II 2.9 4x4 and recently my rear antilock and brake lights are on all the time. I didn't check the transmission shaft for the main input bearing. I know I will have to remove the transmission again to check this. Is there anything else I should check? How hard is it to replace the main input bearing, and does it require any special tools?
