After hunting season is over for my winter project I want to rebuild/replace my tired 2.9. I can buy a reman from Jasper engines for around $1600 bucks with a warrantt but I would like to have a little more power also. Does anyone know how to squeeze some more horses out of these engines? Dash replacement
I am planning an "overhaul" on the interior of my '89 Bronco II. My dash is pretty rough and I am also changing the interior color. I want to replace my dash with a new one but I don't know where to find one. Any suggestions would be apprecited.

I know you are delivering mail but I have consistantly gotten 19-20 mpg since I bought my '89 BII and gave it a maintenance goover. Try checking the fuel pressure regulator. I had to replace mine not long afetr I got it and that mede Huge differance in my mileage and since then it's been great. I ...

A spring shop can rebow them and add a thicker leaf for you. This is munch less expensive and beefier than buying aftermarket springs. I had mine done last year and I think it cost about $125 for both sides.

The clicking is normal. I have an '89 and wondered the same thing when i first bought it. Although it is not necessary, I have found it "takes" 4WD easier and more consistant if you just stop and put the tranny in neutral then engage the 4WD. Also, it is necessary to reverse for a few feet after ...
