I'm trying to figure how to get into the panel/grill thing at the base of the windshield, under the wipers, so I can see what broke, but I am confused. I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to these things, but I'm learning-- does anyone have any suggestions?

I can't find this thermostat housing anywhere, all the auto parts stores carry another thermostat housing which is missing the two ports that come out of the top. is it possible to get this other housing and bypass the two plugs that go into it? or, does any one know where I can find that part ...
