it has a brand new muffler but i guess the cats could be clogged up. it feels more like a lack of fuel

fuel pump problem?
i have a 1990 b2 and sometimes when accelerating it starts to surge and bog down. it will continue to do this until i shut it off. some times it will even be so bad that the vehicle will die at idle. after i shut it off it is fine for a while, sometimes even weeks. does this sound like a fuel pump ...

pre 1996 4 door explorer leafs and coils. it will give you about 2-2.5"s of lift from stock. 2 door explorer leafs if you want to get about .5-1" of lift

anything over 2 inches of suspension lift you should get custom drive shafts

ok thanks guys. oh well looks like im forking out the money. and i would love to be able to say that the pump that is in it lasted 20 years, but before i got it the guy put one in but it was a used one

fuel pump
i was just wondering if i would be able to use a fuel pump from a fisrt gen b2 in a second gen. both are 2.9Ls. i have a second gen (90) and it has a bad fuel pump, and i got a free one from an 87 and was hoping i could use it and save some money

i have a 90 b2 that clears 31x10.5 r15s perfectly on stock rims. if your springs are good yours should do fine like this aswell

if you have the right connecter then you should be set. the connector has 2 small pins toward the outside and 2 larger ones on the inside. (small pin, large pin, large pin, small pin) then it will have one on a separate wire right near it. this is a power wire that should also connect into your ...

the crown vic being a 2002 would have the obd2 connector which was standardized as of 1996. pre 96 vehicles can have it anywhere, any shape, and give out only as much info as the company wants. you wil most likely have to take it into a dealer to have it scanned otherwise you will have to buy an ...

like i said explorer sport 4x4 rear leafs will bring it back up to original ride hight if they too are not sagged and they would be better for towing because i belive that most have an overload leaf. depending on how heavy of a load you are towing you may want to go with ones from a 4 door 4x4 ...
