Re: 4x4 + snow question
No problem and don't ever be afraid to ask questions even if you think they are dumb, most people don't learn stuff like this on there own entirely. Everyone that can answer these kind of questions have had someone teach them along the way and most people are more than willing to share what they ...

Re: 4x4 + snow question
I know with my Bronco I can put it in and out of 4x4 anytime I want to and at any speed so you should be fine to just take it in and out.

Re: 4x4 + snow question
The answere to your first questions is yes essentialy with auto hubs your hubs are always "in" meaning they will automatically lock "in" when you put the shifter in the 4H postition. To your second question the "N" postion on your 4x4 shifter means that the transfer case will go into neutral and ...

Re: D35 members
Not with a D35 I wouldn't feel comfortable. I'm sure there are people that do it and have no problems and since it is up front it's not as likely to break but I guess as long as you stay out of the gas when turning you might be alright. I think maybe an EZ locker would be better for the front as ...

Re: Replacing back glass
Thats odd I think there are about ten nuts on the inside of the window you may have to pull the interior plastic away from the body to get to them I'm not sure since mine was already stripped inside before I did this. Also if you can get the weather striping to stick on the glass when you pull it ...

Re: Replacing back glass
I pulled mine out a couple months ago and the main thing to worry about is the weather striping. You need to do it either on a hot day or use a blow dryer or heat gun to get the glue to seperate. You just need to undue the nuts on the inside of the glass and starting at the bottom corner pull the ...

Re: dana 30 sas
I don't know where you heard that a D35 is almost as strong as a D44 but whoever told you that is a liar. The D35 sucks, maybe it would alright in the front since you don't have to worry about an axle falling out if it breaks, but you could never get me to go near one if I had a choice.

Re: My '89 B2 Project
Well there may be hope for the Bronco yet. My dad has '68 Ford back home in Oregon with a 302 in it and it hasn't run for a while but when it did run it ran great and never burned oil. He is going to be scraping the truck to turn it into a trailer and all I have to do is go pick up the motor and ...

Re: gettin it to start
Yes it will I put a 2.8L out of a '78 Mustang in my 89' and everything bolted right up so the bellhousings are the same and eveything else should be good.

Re: My '89 B2 Project
Sorry guys thats just me. I've had my jeep and I've had my Fords and jeeps are just easier to work on and more capable in my opinion. I'm not saying the Bronco is a bad ride it's a lot of fun but I'd rather have something that I know most everything about.

Re: Stripping out my grease fittings! WOO-HOOO!!
The tap in ones I found were actually on amazon. When I did the lift kit on my jeep the grease fittings that came with it were tiny and as soon as i went to put grease in them they all broke. The tap in ones were great they have ribs to hold them in and I never had a problem with them. I just had to ...

You could get some tap in grease fittings then you wouldn't have to worry about drilling and tapping threads.

Re: My '89 B2 Project
Well if I do it I will probably do a 4.0 swap just for how easy it will be, but at the moment the Bronco is up for sale and I kind of want to sell it to get a Cherokee or a Wrangler because I truly am a Jeep guy. I guess I'll see how that goes since the Bronco isn't street legal it's gonna be tough ...

Re: 89 bronco 2 2.9 4x4 few questions
1. It can be pretty easy to knock the wire off so that shouldn't be a problem. 2. Make sure you didn't put the bulb in backwards as it would opperate the bright filliment when it should be using the dim one. 3. I would say that it probably is an unbalanced tire if it only shakes at that speed. Same ...
