I thought the samething. I thought maybe it could be losing fluid pressure whin it warmed up. I have a rebuilding book on it, but I don't see what the fluid pressure is. the book does't have it that I can see. It will turn the tires in reverse when its cold. Its got me. I did have someone on an ...

Water leaking in rear floorboard

Water is leaking in my rear floorboard. I see it coming down the post behind the door when it rains, when I pull up the plastic cover. Is it the rear 1/4 window,roof rack, or body weld? Is this in all BIIs or is it just mine?

It sould work you may have to change external parts that don't match yours and the flywheel.

It could be sucking air at pump or sceen conection, or the bearings are just wore out. The rods,mains,and cam bearings being wore can lower oil pressure.

I had an 87 ranger that did that it was the conecter under dash came apart. It's worth a try.

You just will not have OD. Or find which wires go to the lockup converter use them change conecters and you would have OD.

Mybe the oil pump sceen is pluged. I had one do that on a 87 ranger

88 bronco II a4ld slipping when warm

I have an 88 bronco II 4x4 it is slipping in reverse and 3rd when it warms up ( normal engine temp). Works fine when cold (cold engine temp) shifts great no slipping. After it warms it slips in reverse 3rd no OD at that time. if you keep driving, it will stop moving. After it cools down(cold engine ...
