identify my trans

i have a 1988 bronco II with the 5 speed but how do u know what trans it is the mazda or the mitsubishi?

Could also be the toyokogyo.

you probably have the toyo. you do need to look under the truck though.....more then likely it is on it's second tranny.

i think i have the mistubishi trans because i went to therangerstation.com and it said that it has the 5 speed overdrive and mine does!!!

all the 5 speeds are overdrive
