There are 2 fuel pumps, one in the tank, and one on the frame rail.
Does it only happen while going up hill?

have you had the TFI modual checked?
its on the distributor and it can be checked at autozone for free.

answers to both questions..
it only as 1 fuel, the in the tank. and yes only up hill it loses all power.
and yes i am going to take and have the TFI checked, i have a spare i am going to try.
i was told it could be the fuel pressure swith or the fuel filter going to check both of those.

yea in 1990 they replaced the intank with a highpressure pump and got rid of the Frame rail one wich with all the mods they made to 1990's BII's one would think they planned on making more.

Does it still have a Cat in it ? It could be plugged. Does the engine get warm when this symtom happens? The timing could be to retarded and then you would lose power. A bad coil will do the same thing
