my wife made the same comment

well, the good thing is they are all together........

for the moment any way

I did look under the rear and someone has trimmed the rear in the front of the wheel well so I guess I have the option to cut now because it is already altered. I am kinda debating if I might want to go full width and run some fender flairs. I don't know I need to get it fired up first and get the brakes working before I start making alterations like that. it is always good to have a running vehicle before you take it apart so you know it all works.

Well, depending on how everything else is, you might better off cleaning it up and reselling it for a decent profit. A little trimming shouldn't be that hard for some of these guys to fix.

However, if you decide to cut it, you might want to try and find a buyer for the cut out part before you actually cut it. But then you'd have to tell people you are cutting it.......

So what's your plan? Are you going to wheel it? If so, then you pretty much have to cut it. I'm not crazy about full width axles. You don't get hassled down there for tires sticking out?

well, I am a big fan of doing complete resortations.....but when it comes down to it I realy don't care what other people think. I want a car for me not for everyone else. so I have no problem telling people I am going to cut. that being said, I haven't decided about it yet. I will probably just wait untill I get everything working again before I start on the body so I got some time.....

I saw a pic of one with full width and thought it looked cool, but I am in the air with this too. I plan to wheel it a little but not like I did the BII. just some mild wheeling.

we don't have lift laws here. no problems with the police unless you are just being stupid. I run no fenderwells on my trailer. passed and fallowed by cops never a ticket. we don't even have a smogger or inspections. my BII as it sets is street legal in KY.

The early Broncos are getting harder and harder to find uncut, it's yours so don't think I am telling you what to do, but consider the fact that if it's uncut you might be able to get one in trade that is either partially built or cut and some cash.

Mine is clean in all the places most rust and if I had to do it over again I would have sold mine and bought one that was a bit rougher to start with since it's a wheeler.

that said, nice find and get ready they are more expensive than the BII's are.

honestly I don't think it is going to be too bad. I have priced everything so far and it is not looking too grim......but then again I have wanted one of these for a long time so that might be blinding me a little

one thing I have found I like is every thing looks simple. the only thing I am realy unfamilier with is points, but I might go duraspark while I am swapping out the motor.

as soon as I get this clutch thing figured out it should be all down hill from there.

Well as far as price goes it depends on what you want, some of the small stuff is what can add up quick.

I gave Nobody a dist that I had with a drop in points replacement yesterday and that is defiantly better than messing with points IMO.

Keep in mind when doing the clutch, if you don't already know, there is a simple jig that you can build in 2 min to hold the 3spd from shifting when out. It will keep some bearings in place instead of inside the trany lose, I don't know much about the stock trany but I do remember that it's easy to screw that up.

honestly I havent mesed with the shifter but it has been sitting since like 95 with no motor in it and the tranny dangling and I don't know if anyone has messed with it or not......is that a big deal? I didn't even think about that. I knew that you should not mess with the clutch peddle but I have never heard to not mess with the shifter.....

I would like to see some info on it if you got a link?
