I found this tread over at a FSB forum. the guy is running a stearing setup on the backof his axle. do y'all think this might work for coil sprung D44's? if it would it would eliminate the cause for the cheby knuckle conversion.

Seems you would need the King Pin style steering nuckle joint for this. That was the quick way to tell an EB 30 from an EB 44 was to look and see if it had Ball Joints (44) or King Pins (30). I don't know what 44's if any had King Pins. Someone else my know if any of the 44's came with King Pins.

yeah i think there was one ford made but its extreamly extreamly rare not even worth it because no one will make parts for it. I dont see why you cant do this with a chevy flat top knuckle.
