New to the BII

Hey guys im new to this bronco II stuff i mean i do have 2 right now ...just getting my second over the weekend but im not a ford guy. Just by chance i picked these up cheap(89 BII with 80,000 for $500 and a 88 with 170,000 for $100) I am wanting to know what you guys do to these things to make them a little bit stronger...if you will help me out..~Pappy

welcome, the best thing you will find here is the search tool. we have talked about every aspect of these things so if you look and don't find, ask and we will see what we can do. you will be suprised at what your new trucks can do from the factory but there are always ways to make it better. enjoy the info!

Better axles and lockers. Suspension upgrades for the intended application.
The D-35 and 8.8 were the best mods I've done. The Explorer front suspension bolts right up and is ideal with a 4" lift. I used the 8.8 rear diffy from an Explorer and I custom did everything but a Ranger axle might bolt right up like it was meant to.
I installed the locker in my front diffy before I swapped it in and that was a real easy time to do it.
