Well i wanna know for shure that its my tranny thats blown and nothing else...... to start it out, the transmission goes into drive but u have to put it out at about 3500 and it will go forward........ and there is no reverse, well it still clicks and jumps back like it does all the time(A4LD), but it doesnt go n e where...... i was wondering if it was possible for bronco II's to have the front discs lock up with the pads, i think it was that because for a while my brakes were acting up and they were making a harmonic grinding noise so i though that was it...... oh yea and what about the transfer case! I have a 1350 electric shift, and i thought that the fork got stuck inbetween some how and the t-case wont shift into n e thing...... I just need to find out for shure, if u could help me out by listing the common problems on my situation, then that would really help me out.... please get my bronco II out on the trails :frown:

the automatic trans is the most common failure.... what does the trans fluid smell like? drop the pan and see how much crap is sitting on the bottom

see if park holds it...... if it won't move in park, the transfer is ok. if it crunches and grinds in park, i would look at the t case
