Scored another truck tonight

Post by JCinTN »

Well guys I didn't get another Bronco II but I did get a very nice used 4x4 extended cab Ranger, its an 89 and will share the driveway with my 89 BII. The only dilemma now is which one do I want to spend the money on mods? I think the wife wants to keep the BII stock and let me have the truck for my toy...we shall see. Either way I think she is about to kill me, and my addiction has now begun!!!!!

I agree that it would be better for you to build the BII, but in most cases the wife wins.....so you should build what makes you happy at home. however your ranger is already running and the BII is not, so you might use that as leverage. good luck and nice score....any pics?

My BII will be back on the road on Monday - so much for using the fact that its not running as leverage to build it while I daily drive the ranger. She is even suggesting that I daily drive her car to work while she takes my Bronco  I don't think so but it makes more sense because it will save on the gas money. Why does she have to be so practical? LOL. Oh well. I will get pics up next week of both of them.

Well nothing special, she drives a 99 Taurus. She is right it does get better mileage than both of my trucks (I drive 50 miles to work one way, she works from home, and with gas prices now thats a concern) but the fun factor is not there, LOL. That is our road trip, kid hauling mobile. But she certainly likes the BII - alot more than I thought she ever would. She got used to it while I was gone overseas. Her only complaint is that its a pain to put her, me, and my daughter in there. She wants a 4 dr. I guess the plan would be to use that as leverage to get an Explorer for her next vehicle when we get rid of the Taurus. (Of course after flowers, some jewlry for the anniversary, etc...)
