Looks nice! Did you do the welding yourself?

yeah, I was using 120 amps and it burned in nice. the part that sucked was drilling the holes......it took forever.

thanks, I think I am going to try to run the shock bracket in front of the spring instead of where you have yours mounted.....my suspension has the front bracket on there now but it is on the driverside of the front. I think that will let it move more free, but I was looking at the steering and I think I might have some issues. I'll keep y'all posted.......

I'd recommend against that. Aside from steering clearance issues, your articulation will be limited by shock length. Also I seem to remember someone saying there are some issues with mounting the shock on the axle side of the pivot. I can see it binding the shock bushing a lot more, and possibly some quirky handling.

One other option is mounting the shock on the side of the arm.

I had debated running it on the side of the arm also, I can see your point on the loss of handling. I'm gonna think about it for a few days I got to work all weekend anyway.........
