did you check your coolent level?

low coolent will give you no heat and an over heating motor.

Heater:
No smell. no damp floor. I put in a new thermostat and that didn't seem to help.

Exhaust smell:
Strong smell of gas in exhaust. I also have a smell of gas in the oil. what do i do??

well, if you have a strong smeel of gas from the exhaust you are running rich. did your check engine light kick on? have your codes pulled and fix what they tell you is wrong. I don't think there is any part that would make a corrilation between the two though. usually if the heater isn't blowing warm air you could have a few things wrong......low anitfreeze or the motor isn't warming up enough because its too cold. what is your temp looking like after you have been driving it for a little.....like normal operating temp?

No heat - No problem

You have an air bubble in your heater core. Remove the outlet hose (goes to water pump) from the heater core, start and let coolant start coming out and slip hose on. Should fix your problem.
Adding a inspection tee and cap in the outlet hose will allow you to do this also.

Good luck :redneck:
