1987 Bronco 2, wont start. need HELP!

so i jus replaced the distributor and wired the plugs correctly but it still wont start and it gets fuel but wont run. ive tried spraying carb cleaner in the intake and still didnt do anything. any help would be appricatied.

Need more info. how do you know you are getting fuel. do you have spark. why did you replace the distributor. did you instal the distributor right. does it sputter at all with or without spraying in the intake

yes i have fuel, i replaced the distributor becuase the tfi was bad. no it doesnt sputter or anything

you probably didn't time it right or you left something unhooked

Just went through Something like this on my 89 Bronco II I just bought on sunday. Cranks fully and anf good fuel pressure. Mine turned out to be an ignition switch. Try running a jumper wire from the positive on the battery to the positive on the coil. If it powers up the whole truck i.e. fule pump realys and accesories. Id start there Standard part number for my 89 was us-108, It has been working like a champ since.

i just had to put a new ignition switch in mine. it would only run if i held the key in a certain spot. if i let go of the key it would shut off but i still had power to the dash stuff

Dam, I talked to my tech and he said check out your tfi module. Its bolted on the outside of the distributer, and there is a pick up coil inside the distributer, Make sure you mark where the rotor is faceing if you pull the distributer so you can get it back in time. If you havent tried jumping a hot wire to you coil, give that a try also. Hope this helps man.
