I need to put a new slave cylinder in my 89 but I can't get the hydraulic line to disconnect. the new slave came with a little plastic tool and the instructions say that it should have a brass fitting, but the fitting is not brass. can anyone help me out on this. i am really starting to miss driving my b2. thanks

If you take a spray paint cap and cut the outside rim to go around the fitting you can wiggle it in and unlock the quick fitting. works pretty slick if you need to change the slave cylinder
