Need advice on installing a/c

Bought a like new 1989 BII XL with 43,000. Super condition. I am in FL so I really need A/C and this XL did not come with it, it was a OR car. So how big of a deal is it to install factory air. Seems like there are some available parts on eBay. Does anyone know if the wiring is already there?

I don't know for sure, but it seems like it would be a process. My 87 has a/c and with the pump, the hoses, the wiring, the brackets, the belt, it seems like a job.

No idea if the wiring for a/c would already be there on yours either.

Can you post a couple photos of your engine??....I could maybe tell from photos how feasible it is.

really doesn't seem like too big of a job. Hardest part is the evaporator housing. My control inside is exactly the same as the one with a/c minus the a/c switch. Just wondering if the plug in the back is the same.

thanks
pete

I think the cabin heating control will have to be replaced to a AC control Panel.
