302 swap question

What modifications would i have to do if i swap the 2.8l v6 to a 5.0 302? Do i have to get a new transmission?

the 2.8 will not bolt up to a 5.0 without an adapter plate. i have been told that the bellhousing from a 87 f150 will work to bolt the engine to tha tranny. check everything out before starting. unless there is a body lift on the bronco2 you will also need to do some modifications to the firewall to make clearance for the 5.0. also engine mounts will be an issue. you will have to probably fabricate the mounts. if you have an EFI 5.0 you will need the ECC from the donor car as well
