Dana 44 trac bar question

Ok can i buy a trac bar for the dana 44 from someone? I dont want to custom fabricate something this important and mess it up....i would

. Give me ur input on what trac will work with the dana 44 bronco II swap.

Just out of curiousty how long is a stock EB trac bar? Cant you get a FS one and cut it down?

if you make one really spend some time researching the materials you use. that is an important part of the suspension. if you make one I would buy the best hiems you can find and a thick walled tube. and what ever you do stay away from the tractor supply arm, from what I hear they are junk.
if you can find a trackbar that would probably be the best way.

Well I have the stock FS tracbar but I just wanted to know how much to cut down and sleeve for eb size like the 44 now is.

you will probably need to get everything up and on its own and centered. then measure. the EB track bar is probably close though, because you chopped it down to that width. from what I have seen the BII frame is about 4-5" narrower then the FS frame so it is probably around 3-4" shorter then the FS track bar.

what about a full sized dana 44? did u guys say that i can still use some of the stock components?

Thats what I am asking. I have a stock fullsized tracbar that Iwant to cut down to EB size since I just cut down my hpd44. Now I want to cut a section out so its EB size, sleeve it and be set.
