you can get a bench seat from a ranger and it will work. I used one in my 84 I used to have.

Sounds like you have my bronco except i'm 4x4. How old are you? i'm 15. what parts are already in it? i know you'll need (correct me if i'm wrong guys) a transfer case. I have a Borg warner 1340 i think. you'll also need a transaxle and locking hube for your front end. It will be a LOT of work. You'll $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ out the butt. what kind of condition is it in?

My 88 2wd has a front bench seat in it. I have a set of EB buckets that I'm thinking about swapping in. Where in MO are you?

As far as the swap to 4x4 you should have a dummy t-case in your BII. So you just need to pull the dummy t-case and install a working one. You would be able to use a 1350 or 1354 electric or std shift. Then you need a TTB front axle the same ratio as your rear axle. Either a dana 28 out of a BII or Ranger or a Dana 35 out of an Explorer. You will need at least one of the 4x4 BII brackets that attaches the TTB arms to the front cross member. I think it is the drivers side but my son says it's the passangers side that is different on the 2wd. You will need a front drive shaft. Some way to shift the t-case. A shifter and floor plate with boot for a std shift and wiring and switches for an electric shift t-case. That should do it.

If you want the 60/40 bench out of my 88 XLT you can come and get it. I'm running out of room for stuff and have the buckets to go in mine so I don't want or have room for any more seats. Just let me know if you want it and a then we just need to work out a time for you to drive out and pick it up.

It's actually out at my mom's place near Augusta, KS. Delorme says it's 181 miles from the center of Joplin to her house. I could meet you in Augusta, and let you follow me to the house. I don't get out there a lot but I can get picks in a week or so. It is Red cloth. If I shipped it I'd have to get a pallet and send it truck freight. Should be about the same in gas to come and get it or a little less. And I wouldn't have to go through all the stuff with shipping. We could even swap it out while you were here if you like.

Should be around 3 hours depending on what side of Joplin you are on. We could meet up at McDonalds in Augusta about noon someday for lunch if you'd like. It will be on the north side of the road(on your right) on the west side of Augusta.

Not unless I have to mess with the shipping stuff. I'd even let you pull it. I have lots of tools and a huge shed to work in out there. I'll try to get picks in the next week or so. Just hate to spend gas money for a special trip. But if you were thinking about this weekend then I'd go out tomorrow.
