I recently did my first engine swap on my 87b2 I replaced a tired 2.9 with a fresh 2.9 and I adjusted the timing (also my first time) and I think I have it just about right, the power feels good but once warmed up I can hear some slight slight pinging, now when using a timing light which mark on the crank am I looking for aa a reference? There's a tab with a circle you can see through and then maybe an inch away is a pointed metal piece, which do I align the timing mark with?

Thanks and sorry for being a noob

you have to remove the timing spout to set the timing. it's located on the pass. side of the upper intake. it's a 2 wire connector and you just pull the connector out. The circle tab is for factory stuff, use the pointer.
