i can get a used but good d44 and rear axle out of a f150.. will the d44 bolt up to my b2 with out modifications??? i would be getting the axle, coil springs and torsion bars

IMHO, unless you want the full width of the full size d44, you're running a lot more motor than a 2.9, or you're running really big tires; A d35 from a first gen Explorer is a bolt in swap except for the drive shaft.
