ok so the windshield washer in my 1989 b2 EB edition hasn't worked since i bought the vehicle. I checked the circuit breaker and it was fine. I changed the windshield washer pump and it still wont work. Apparently i'm not getting any power to the windshield washer pump. I'm no mechanic but i am pretty handy. I'm stuck here don't know what else to try since i don't have a electricity tester. Any suggestions?

Have any extra wire? Run a wire from the positive terminal on the battery over to the pump and see if it runs. The pump also needs to be grounded. FWIW, a test light is cheap.
