The motor will start and idle without a problem but if you try to accelerate it will not advance. We put a timimg light on it an verified that it is not advancing. This is controled by the electonics module. Any suggestions? Thank You!

Did you disconnect or reconnect the wire from the distributor that is hanging on the firewall? If I recall that wire will not allow the distributor to advance so that you can time it correctly. Check your manual.
