I'm wanting to put 31 inch tires on my 88 b2 with 15x8 rims...will that work without any other mods with a 2 inch lift?

You would be OK,

May get a tiny bit of Rubbing but that can be an easy fix you can handle. They make wheel spacers and Fender flares to help with bigger tires.

well i just crammed 31's on 8'' wheels on my stocker(its about to get higher and lighter) and they rub so badly i can't turn a corner and stay in my own lane lol.....i'm just saying...
