I have an 88 b2 and the flywheel has completely stripped off of the crankshaft. I was just wondering how difficult it was to change it.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but if the flywheel teeth are stripped, you are going to have to pull the tranny/transfer case and replace the flywheel.
Make sure and get the right one. I'm not sure how many ones there were for that year, so do your homework, and check the bellhousing, starter, and a good thing to do check the rear main seal on the motor while you have it apart to see if it is leaking, and replace it if need be.
Sorry for the bad news, but I have been in your shoes. You are looking at at least a half a day if not more depending on your mechanical abilities and tools to do the job.
