I drove 40 miles to look at an 86 B2 that was advertised as "staight and clean" and "low miles". When I got there I could see damage at fifty feet. Not a good sign. Closer inspection showed everything was broken, torn, or missing.
As far as low miles.....well both the clutch and brake pedal rubber was worn to the metal. It would not idle and when driving it the engine would die in between shifts. He seemed to think just letting the clutch out to restart it was okay on a regular basis.
Needless to say I didn't buy it.
