88 b2 2.9-4.0 swap.

I got a 90 explorer that has a 4.0 and I want to put it in my 88b2. Will it just bolt in,or what will the swap consist of?

im currently doing a 4.0 swap on my 89 bronco2. I had some questions about this to cuz every were i read had 2 different answers. Do wut do i do? I called the bronco 2 pros at jamesduff.com. The tech guy said that the 4.0 will bolt right in the spot and hook right up. He said the motor mounts may need to be drilled or grinded some off. So im going to do as he told me.

Only motor mount drilling is when replacing the 2.8 with a 4.0.
