eek:started the tailgate conversion today.
so far. I have the bottom mounts in. Had to cut them down by over half the width. (the camera started to mess up.

I've dropped it too many times. I'm going to by a new one tomorrow.)

then had to take a 1/4: off both sides to get it to fit. Hesitant to cut the hatch but if you’re going to do something do it all the way.
More work tomorrow

Thats a good idea. I hate dealing with these stupid hatches esp. because im tall and it gets annoying. Keep us posted on your work. Looks good so far!

I was not able to get back to work on it. Reviewed the other thread. This gent cut an 1" out of the height of his. I yanked it all off to keep it from getting rained on. I have to work this Sunday so I figure to take it to work and use the side grinder and welder. Ordered a 3 " body lift tonight for my birthday. Had an agreement with the wife to spend a couple of hundred on the b2 for my b-day but went over. lol

the new camera is a sure shot. Great pics. I'll take it with me to doc the docking of the tail; have to be there 13 hours soooo. Got a great present from the son tonight. A BOTTLE OF 12year old scotch! How sweet is that?

Great idea! In cold weather the lift shocks on my back door don't hold and last week I ran into the open door. Allmost knocked me out cold. I now carry a broom handle to make sure it stays up.

Yea, my lit arms never hold it up, except when its really warm. I dont want to put out the ass to get new ones from an auto part store so I use a small board similar to a broom stick to hold mine up. I've walked into it before, that shit hurts. Its also fallen on me before
