This is the first bronco Ive owned. I just got a 89 xlt with a 2.9 and a 5 speed. the push button 4x4 doesnt work, the buttons light up but the ornge light never comes on i would like to fix it just dont know where to start any ideas? also it runs great but every now and then when u hit the gas about half 3/4 it chugs around 2500rpms just wounderin if anyone has had that issue also n how u fixed it. Last I have a noise in the trans it shifts and drives perfect but when u let the clutch out even stoped it sounds like theres a bad bearing?

any help would be great thanks

I've got a 89 bii xlt with a 2.9 and a 5 speed. but I have a manual 4x4 floor shifter not buttons. Just thought it was odd that they would make both.
