1989 catalytic converters

1989 catalytic converters

My bronco II has 2 converters.Would gutting 1 or both of them help or hurt gas milage and performance.Thanks.

i have mine jutted, didnt really notice any difference. maybe at higher RPM's a little

:wtf: Gutting the cats will hurt low end torque, not to mention it is a federal offense.

There is absolutely no reason to destroy perfectly good equipment.

Absolutely 100% correct!!! I second that.

I can't believe how many people want to gut out or punch out the converters. I sure wish the people whom perpetrate these false ideas just set down and think instead of getting all Medieval on the exhaust!
