Manual hubs with push button 4wd?

If I converted my hubs to manuals how would this effect my push button 4wd?

it wont, as long as the hubs are locked you can put it in and out of 4x4 runnin down the road.

So will it ruin anything having them locked when not using them?

I converted my auto hubs to manual lock outs with help from ppl from this site. I have th epush button 4x4 and its worked great now that I changed the hubs.

The only effect of having the hubs locked all the time is you are now adding friction of turning the axles, and rotating the rear end gears and turning the front drive-shaft. You will see your fuel mileage go down.
Oh don't forget with the hubs locked all the time you are now putting un-necessary wear on your front axle and drive shaft U joints.

its the same as a jeep D30 or any 4x4 with no hubs. they get many miles out of the u-joints and bearings cause there being used,not just sittin there rusting
