Parking brake?

Post by joeyy »

I think my parking brake is stuck on a little bit, I have it disconnected underneath, as in the spring and that metal thing i took off. The cable and everything is still there though. How can I check to see if its stuck on? Also how can I make it so that it actually works? Before when I pressed on the pedal it would go down forcefully but now the pedal is just really loose once I release it. Any ideas?

to release it if it is stuck in u have to take off the rear tires n pull the drums off and compress them back in if they are needed to be ant to get it working again you will need to atatch everything you took off and check everything that applies to the e brake and go thru it and check to make sure it is in workin n proper condition and for the sticky part try applying some lube from the cabel line up by the e brake pedal all the way back to above the rear pumpkin and check to see if the pedal is pulled all the way up
