Hard line or rubber line? Mine just unscrews like the caliper end.

not sure what the difference is. heres the hose im using
http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/webapp ... 6065322___
on the other end from the caliper its hex shaped and has a peice of metal that sticks of the hex end and is bent like an "L"
I think i need to remove a clip on the other side of where its connected but theres not enough room to remove it.
any of this sound familiar?

The side away from the frame will have to be pried up enough to clear the boss on the hose before it will slide off. You may have to rotate it some if you can.
Can you take a picture of the clip?

the bent side you show in the pic theres a bar across the side closest to the frame, so it cant be tapped out that direction.
if you were to turn it around theres a bar on that side to but its on the other side.
so it can't be tapped off either way. should i just break it off? i really dont see any way to get it off. ive tried being it out and turning it, but no luck.

If you have to go ahead and break it out. I've had them rusted to the point of breaking when I tried to knock them off.

i broke it off. not sure how they even got it on there. thanks for the help guys. Oh one other question. put the new hose on. but the new one doesnt fit in the hole the old one did. the old one had 2 flatsides so the hole is oval. the new hose doesnt have flat sides. is it and issue if it moves around a bit?

Over a long period of time, it could rub a hole in the hose if it is in contact with anything. Sounds like they may have given you the wrong hose. If you have access to a die grinder you could open the hole up enough to make it fit. Just make sure it is fastened down pretty tight. They did it from the factory that way to control vibration and keep any movement where it should be, in the rubber line.
