Rare as hen's teeth. I've had a couple of the Mitsubishi turbo diesels (Not in the Bronco 2) that were great motors. But I would think they would be under powered for the B2. Probably why they weren't common. Now a Detroit 453 turbo would be nice.

P.S. it's spelled "cylinder".

Peace.

The 4 Cylinder engine that was a rare exception was a diesel 4 Cylinder. If my memory serves me right it was a diesel version of the 2.3.

The ford 2.3 is a 4 cylinder that was used in Rangers and of course our beloved death trap pintos. There are a lot of speed parts available and some of them 4 cylinders kick some very serious ass. Turbo ed or supercharged these motors are unbelievable for Hp!

Look up racer Walsh on line they used to be my supplier for make um go fast 2.3 parts.
