1985 BRONCO II 2.8 5SPD QUESTION

MY SHIFTER HAS ALOT OF PLAY AND BOOT OR GROMET THAT HOLDS THE LEVER WENT OUT DO I NEED TO REPLACE THE BOOT OR THE COMPLETE SHIFTER, IF SO WHERE CAN THIS PART BE FOUND?

What transmission you got?
Some have a plastic bushing in the shift tower that can be replace, others you need to replace the whole shifter assembly.
Follow this link to ID your transmission, the code in the second column should match what is on the door post sticker:

As the truck is older, it might pay you to crwl under it and verify what the door sticker states.

Its the same white bushing thats on that second to last photo on that link which i believe said it was a picture of a tk-5. Now is it just the bushing or the complete shifter that should be replaced?

Hate to tell you this, the whole stick, they don't or at least 10 years ago they didn't sell it in parts, just the whole stick.
When i bought mine it was about $50.
All I can read of the part number on mine is E6TZ, yours should be something similar.

THANKS FOR THE INFO. WHEN I SEARCHED IT CAME UP WITH A BUNCH OF DIFFERENT PARTS FOR THE BRONCO II. WHERE DID YOU BUY YOURS?
