My B2 ran out of gas last night and after I put gas in it, it wouldn't crank. There are sparks coming from the starter I think. I just hope that the same thing that happened last time it ran out of gas has happened again(Let's just say that it jumped timing, and distroyed the distributor). Please someone help me. Thanks in advance.

if it wont crank, and you see sparks coming form the starter, you have a bad connection. Clean up the connection by the starter, and make sure it is tight to the block and clean. That should help

Also, make sure you didn't air lock the injectors, If you have 'em.

Usually if there is sparks coming from the starter, than there isn't a good connection. This happened to me from 4-byin, the cable to the starter wasn't fully connected so it didnt start or crank over. But for the gas problem, u might have a broken pump, dry injectors, or even an air spot in ur fuel lines

This is an inertia switch that may need reset. If its an 88, the switch is at the feet of the passenger. You might also have a gear stuck.

lets start with something simple.....can you turn the crank with your hands?
if you can, the check the starter connections for voltage and clean them.
the motor must crank before you need to find out if you are getting fuel or not.
did you replace or check the timeing chain when it had the problem before?
