DANNA 44 SWAP ?

okay im swapping dana 44 into my b2 stock motor 5 speed auoto locking hubs i need help when i swap the axles i wanna swap to manual 4x4 not the electric shit please help what do i do im clueless. im tired of electronix so i am gonna have manual

its a bolt in swap. just get the floor plate for the manual shift or cut the the one you have now

where should i get my axles from like a 78-79 f150 or bronco ? or what and im gonna be keeping the 2.9 for a couple months

try a 76-77 or any EB D44. Do a search, there are a lot of posts on this subject.

when i do the leaf over in the rear is my axle gonna buckle and cause my driveshaft to bind and break the ujoint or ubolts on the driveshaft

Leaf over the top of the axle? Thats how the B2 are set up. If you are talking about leaf under conversion from an explorer you will be fine. Its about the same pressures no matter if on the bottom or top of the axle (I think).

okay i appreciate all the help and how much lift am i gonna have and tire size will i be able to run with the dana 44's and 3.5" progressive coils like the black one on the home page im doing the exact setup but no dana 60 44 and a 9 "

If you use 3.5" lift coils meant for an EB then you will have like 6" lift over stock. Its huge. My Duff EB coils make my 33" muds look small.
